The day Lucille shared her voice

bbkingIn 1970, BB King, makes the famous theme composed by Roy Hawkins, The Thrill is Gone, located at the site 183 of the 500 best songs of all time by Rolling Stone magazine. An authentic blend of blues, taste and quality performance which was only given in the blood that irrigates the veins of those born in Memphis, Mississippi.Curiously, this item to put on the market in voice of BB King and his guitar Lucille, caused a stir by the instant popularity that reached inside and outside the circles of the Blues. Despite having caused a slight controversy, a little break with the standards in the classic Blues, The Thrill is Gone became a presentation letter for King at an international level, to such an extent that today is their success with the largest number interpretations by other artists.Lucille, as King affectionately named his guitar, has always been characterised by a neat sound, basic, glaring and subtle at the same time, as well as nostalgic, emotional and unmistakable. But apparently, for this nostalgic and heartbreaking theme get to know, Lucille decided to share her voice with that of many other large, as is the case with Blackie and Brownie (the guitars of Eric Clapton), the guitarist Gary Moore, Buddy Guy, or the powerful voice of Tracy Chapman. On several occasions, both live and in studio, BB King has invited Eric Clapton to embellish this classic with its characteristic scales and majestic performances. Tracy Chapman has done to this classic look with his low voice and full of soul.Friends, frequent readers, music lovers, those who are in a stage of love or those who want to remember the ingratitude in love, The Thrill is Gone, it is an excellent recommendation for the characteristic flavor accompanied by strong and sweet at once, a good Bourbon.

  2. Estoy con gabo, Phil collins otro grande. Thrill is gone: legendaria.
